Default Baking/Cooking!

Do you like to bake or cook? If so, what kind of things do you like to make?

I like to BBQ or make tacos :r But I recently just got into baking. I'm starting with cookies, cupcakes and muffins but I'd really like to practice more designs and get more creative with the icing, etc ^__^

Simple shortbread recipe that's good to go with everything.

500g Flour
250g Butter
125g Icing Sugar

It's easy to make and using granulated and grainy sugar makes it a little harder than this recipe plus you don't need any more water to stick this stuff together.

I studied bakery and have made lots of breads and pastries before :| It's all very easy but the hardest one that i've ever done is a ciabatta loaf. It's just all repetition to get the technique right. I've also done piping/decoration using icing and it's all fun XD

Ooh very cool =]

I just made some rainbow cupcakes. They turned out pretty good too, just need to figure out an idea for the icing.

I made a nice cake a few months back. Plain sponge cake and a hand make strawberry and cream filling. Real strawberries and everything!

Plus is was all on the savoury side since I can't handle sweet things too well.
