Default D-Con [UK]

The first D-CON, on 28th of February this year, had several professional manga and concept artists attending along with a whole bunch of new talent on show and selling work. Other activities included tutorials, talks, Q+A sessions, cosplay competition and big screen gaming.

The event attracted over 350 people making it the highest attendance for an anime convention in Scotland.

D-CON will be running again on the 6th and 7th of March 2010, after the success of the event this year, with a similar set-up to the last event but with some extras.

There will be a full gaming room with tournaments and new game demos, a screening room for showing unseen student films as well as episodes of anime, more artists and other events which are still to be confirmed. The event was and still is FREE. Exhibitors pay nothing for tables and the public pay no entry free. All money the artists make is kept by them. It is held at the Dundee University union building.

They are very famous for hosting 5-7 conventions in one year as they release each ones date and location i will post it for you.
