I suppose another benefit to doing it yourself means you can have it just how you want it without trying to awkwardly explain anything. And if you don't like the result? Well, you don't have to worry about offending anyone by saying you're not pleased with it
Well, I'm sure some people don't mind saying it either way. But, I can't bring myself to say I don't like something that someone's given to me XD
