I've also played Dragon Quest VIII, but never got around to finishing that as well. ^^; Actually, I don't think I even got far in the game. I think I stopped after acquiring that Crystal Ball.

Just getting to beat that first boss takes hours because you have to lvl up to at least lvl 8 or 9 -.- But I beat that game and it was pretty good!
I got both of the endings. :3
