Blu-rays

So I have decided to unveil my special surprise to you all. And it is BD (Blu-Ray) rips of your favorite anime!!! I will add them as a separate category in the Anime Downloads Section, and they are awesome quality, but big in size. And since most computers can't handle 1080p resolution, the max I will put up there is 720p (maybe....lol)

I was only thinking about putting a few up, but I decided to be nice and I will add much more than that. I am hopefully going to get somewhere around 10~20 series up there. I have been planning this for a while, and uploading when I could when I was away for all those periods of time (which I am sorry about too).

I figured this would be a nice way to end 2011, and bring about the new year.

So far here is the list:

Asobi ni Iku Yo!
B Gata H Kei
Bakemonogatari
Fate/Stay Night
Freezing
Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls

and more to come.

RE: Blu-rays

This Blu-Ray project of mine, I hope it will make up for some of the downtime I have had you guys go through without downloads. I know there are other places to get the shows from, but I would like to make this a one-stop shop someday. And I found out some good news too, since we do not ask for donations to stay alive, we will be towards the bottom of the list to get DMCA'd by companies with copyrights. Unlike all the other sites I know of, they get DMCA'd pretty quick, but since this site is not accepting donations, and is also not so busy s the others, it will most likely be overlooked....for now. Until that time comes, expect a TON of series being up here for you guys.

Hence why I also thought of using JDownloader as well, many people do not want to have to install another program to download series for them. It just kind of stinks for me being the uploader, that jDownloader does not upload to the file hosts....Using jDownloader, but on the plus side of using jDownloader, the only way for people to get the links is to download the .dlc file containing the links, the only way to read it, is with either jDownloader/Mipony. I know people use Mipony instead of jDownloader, but I prefer jDownloader more, just because with jDownloader I got no viruses from, but while using Mipony, I got 5 nice Java exploits, and my PC got jumped. Just an fyi.

But yea back on topic, I plan to have somewhere around 20 up before the new year for you all to enjoy, I know it might not make up for much, but I know my ISP is going to hate us for the rest of the year....lol (I am only 32Gb away from bandwidth cap already....) I'll keep you all posted!

RE: Blu-rays

I'm trying to find the first season Sekirei, but I am having trouble finding some active links to get them from.....It just kind of annoys me having the 2nd season and not the 1st and 2nd seasons together.....

That and I am trying to find even more Blu-Rays out there, I know there is quite a few. Ones that I am really trying to look for are:
Mobile Suit Gundam
Gundam Wing
Zoids Chaotic Century
Zoids New Century Zero
Busou Renkin
S-Cry-Ed

RE: Blu-rays

Whyt.....YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!

Also is that German?

Whyt Lindow 12-16-2011 09:00 AM

RE: Blu-rays

That is German, the language I had to learn in secondary school/High school?

BakaBT's got a huge selection of anime that's been cast out of the loop so I'd recommend looking there for some things.
But if you do download from there, keep in mind that you have to keep your ratio's up in order to keep your account.

Blitztech 12-16-2011 01:02 PM

RE: Blu-rays

I actually have an account there, thing is I can't remember the login details....hehehe. And I guess I will have to figure out out to increase the chances of me being able to seed, and upload at the same time. For some reason when I either upload a torrent, or seed a torrent, it doesnt start to actually upload until someone connects to my computer....Something is wrong with my connection somewhere down the line.

RE: Blu-rays

That is odd, give your ISP a call.
They might be able to provide some insight.

Plus, I think I may be getting 50Mbps internet soon!
(soon meaning anytime in the next couple of months.)

RE: Blu-rays

WOOOOOT!!!!

RE: Blu-rays

I know, It makes me all happy inside.

Blitztech 12-20-2011 09:40 PM

RE: Blu-rays

So how did you manage to pull that one off? Plus 50Mb/s!? Xfinity is only rated to get up to 10Mb/s (which is what I have) and mine is fiber-optics, so you are going to be having a T1 or T3 connection!?

Whyt Lindow 12-21-2011 09:33 AM

RE: Blu-rays

That would be a T3 I'd guess, considering the average speed a Virgin Media customer receives in the UK is 47Mbps on the 50Mbps package. Plus it only costs ?48.90 ($76) including line rental. It's all fiber-optic and BT have just erected a fiber-optic exchange box outside the neighbours house which probably helps. I think there planning on pushing a 100Mbps to residential areas and 1Gb to the city center come mid next year as part of a scheme to improve Britain's internet services.

Blitztech 12-21-2011 09:41 AM

RE: Blu-rays

Tsh, damn I want those speeds........

Whyt Lindow 12-22-2011 11:51 AM

RE: Blu-rays

It is quite nice, but it's still costly.
I'm currently earning cash by doing software testing, currently got $90 waiting to be paid on the 1st but should have more than that come the actual date, that why I'm gonna end up buying it. Hoping to become a gold tester which can reach amounts of $1000 to $10000 per month.

Blitztech 12-26-2011 06:23 PM

RE: Blu-rays

For alot of people, even $1000 a month is alot of money. Even couples that work full time in fast food don't make that much put together.

Whyt Lindow 12-28-2011 12:43 AM

RE: Blu-rays

In Britain the minimum wage is ?6.08ph for someone over the age of 21 that equates to $9.52ph.
I've just looked at the minimum in Michigan and it $7.40 which is ?4.72, now that's a rather large wage gap and is lower than the minimum for 18-20 year olds here.
How can there be such a wage gap in such civilised countries?
I didn't think that Britain and North America would be so far different in earning capacity, but I really feel for the people over there who can only just earn enough to live. Although from what I hear, It's more expensive to live in Britain.

Blitztech 12-28-2011 03:22 AM

RE: Blu-rays

$7.40 is the starting wage for most jobs, but that is also for any age. Raises also come by about 2x a year. It also increases with promotions. The ? is also worth more than the US dollar as well, so that also has some impact. And it may be more expensive to live in Britain, but some places in the states are also pretty expensive too, that and we also get taxed on almost everything we can get or do here.

Whyt Lindow 12-29-2011 05:34 PM

RE: Blu-rays

There are not perks to look forward to like raises here. You only get more money, if you can get a higher position.
The pricing here is ridiculous by any means, a one bedroom flat or apartment could set you back ?400-?500 and month without utilities included. Then if you need a car, your looking at around ?1.38 for a litre of fuel and dependent on age, I'll go with 17-20, your probably going to be paying around ?1300 on car insurance per year.
Hows the pricing on those these things over there?

Blitztech 01-07-2012 12:50 AM

RE: Blu-rays

I was paying $66/month for car insurance (basic of basic), if I could have afforded it I would have done the step up which would have cost $87/month, but when you were living paycheck to paycheck, its kind of hard, so anywhere you can save money is a plus. The car I drove wasn't really worth the step up anyways, it was turning into a junker, (but now it IS a junker).

$66/month: $792 yearly
$87/month: $1044 yearly

And fuel is on average: $3.28/gallon where I live.

Whyt Lindow 01-07-2012 08:53 AM

RE: Blu-rays

It all sounds so amazingly cheap.
But as later posts have said, the cost of living differs between our two countries.

Fuel Here: ?1.37 a litre, 80% of that is tax. 4 Years ago it was ?0.90 per litre with the same 80% tax.
Now that's ridiculous.
