It felt fine. It took me a little bit to get used to them because I wasn't used to holding an XL lol.
Once I got comfy though, it felt pretty smooth. At least from the couple minutes of playing anyway.

The XL can actually begin to feel slightly heavy after a while of holding it.
In the air at least. XD
