FAVORITE anime GENRE
 

I know most of us anime lovers like a lot of genre types, but what is your most favorite among the lot of them??
:)

mine would probably be,
Action-Comedy genre with a slight dash of romance in between.?

Well who doesn't love a good roma-com anime??

My favourite genre would be Romance. Obviously with a bit of comedy mixed in.
Although I do like some Mecha anime as well.
A comedy's always good as well, I need a good laugh every now and then.
Although I do have an attraction to Slice of Life anime as well since.

For me it isnt so much about the genre, rather the characters. Now I generally do find shows I like in Slice of Life or Rommance. However that being said my favorite series is in the Horror Genre.

I've not really seen much in the horror genre, well not much that doesn't have any strong ties with other genres.

It really doesnt and horror show at the top of my favs list could be accused of a Moe show (Higurashi) at times, and with Umineko its all about the characters over the mystery of the story itself for me.

I love Fantasy, Action-Adventure and Yaoi anime the most.

I watch a bunch of Slice of Life comedies lately. I kind of like the simplicity or the lack of a story, and there's plenty of times where I can't watch shows where I get busy with school, so trying to keep up with a story over not watching it for awhile gets kind of bad with me.

Also these shows tend to be short, so a nice 12 episoder or a 25 episoder is good for me.

Adventure,Sci-fi, and Historical

I like sports-comedy with a little romance mixed.

I'm more into the mystery and romance types of manga.

I`m a bit of Horror and comedy person myself :)

Oh I don't mind looking at a few horror ones myself.

Yeah i love a good scare now and again XD

Just a little bit for me only.

I can't watch too many lol.

Romance is still where my favourite lies :)

Although there are some pretty decent action series this time around.

Argevollen, Aldnoah.Zero, Tokyo Ghoul as examples although they may have ties with other genres, I'm mainly focusing on the action in 'em.

Well i`v just watched A certain magical index which is not under one of my genre`s and i ended loving it to bits ^^

Call me perv if you want but i mostly like anime genre with um..bigger boobs than the average.

Don't think on hentai let's take Koihime Musou for example it isn't hentai,it's just a fighting anime series where mostly the girls have quite big,well pretty sure you know what i wanna say here so i won't.

Completely understandable, some people like breasts, I personally like legs haha

Oh come on,it's not ecchi Crescent.Just because girls have bigger breasts it don't means that the whole anime series is ecchi.

But you know what?...Watch it,download and watch Koihime Musou to see what i mean.

I saw the first episode of that somewhere in June but never got into it.

I'm not really into action themed anime.

Well if you're not into it,than don't judge a book by it's cover :P.

I suppose the deciding factor if it's classed a ecchi or not would be how much the focus is on breasts, panty shots and clothes getting ripped of in oh-so-convenient places.

But I haven't seen it so I wouldn't know. But from the female fighting series I've seen so far, it's basically all just boner material.

I wasn't judging lol.

Well for me Adventure Drama, Fantasy, Romance, Super Power, Martial Arts, Magic, Demons

Probably gonna get hate but I saw the cover art for HunterXHunter and dismissed it as an anime aimed for younger audiences. Am I completely wrong? Because I saw some art and besides some of the character designs that I think I can get over, the setting looks pretty sweet.
