What's your favorite genre in music? =P

I don't really have a favourite, per se... I'll listen to pretty much anything. XD

But, I'll say that my music collection predominantly consists of more Alternative Rock (Breaking Benjamin. Boyce Avenue. Default. Nickelback. Broken Iris. Vertical Horizon. etc. ) than any other genre... so there you have it. lol

Depends on where I am. If I'm at home, I usually use my laptop. If I'm out and about, I have a 160gb Ipod to keep me entertained... Well, I did. Until some little bastard stole my Audiotechnika earphones. So for now, until I get new earphones, I just leave the Ipod at home and suffer in music-less silence. :ohno:

What are your thoughts on smoking?

Didn't catch them at it... I dropped them in the mall. Took me a minute to realise they weren't in my pocket, turned around and retraced my steps, and found the earphones little carry case on the ground. Empty.

I'm baffled as to why they didn't just take the case. ._.

I think it's an unhealthy habit, and a waste of money (literally burning it), time and, to be blunt, I see it as a crutch.

I personally don't smoke, never have, but most of the people I know do so, and they're completely addicted to it - for a multitude of different reasons... none of which can make me think better of it, or of them for doing it.

Not that I don't care about the people I'm talking about, but I can't deny that I do think a little less of the smokers than I do of the non-smokers.

Maybe I'm just too judgemental. XD

Smoking is one of my little pleasures and I have very few pleasures in life.

Ahhh, crap. Sorry. I'll rephrase that. I missed what I meant to say... XD

I meant people who are addicted to smoking and can't honestly justify it. Liiiike... someone I used to know once told me that he smokes because he's bored. Bored. Nothing else. Smoked multiple packs a day. Bored. Another said she was stressed.

I just think that time and money could be better spent elsewhere, and said afflictions (boredom, stress) could be relieved in some other way.


If you're just smoking few on occasion for your own enjoyment (Leaving the health concerns aside) then I'm not so opposed to the habit. But excuses for it, like those I mentioned, fuel my dislike of it. :/

I'll never outright dislike someone for it though, in any case. :P

I don't do it out of boredom, it gives me valuable thinking time and also time to socialise with others. I wouldn't see the point if it was out of plain boredom. Wouldn't it be called a hobby if you did it out of boredom?
Stress though, I never saw the point in smoking to relieve stress. Because the main cause for most people is the stress of not being able to have a smoke eventually. Really peeves me off when they do it for such reasons.
