What Genre Of Game Is Your Favorite?
 

My favorite genre are RPG's/JRPG's ^^

There's just something about an epic story and an epic adventure that gets me :nod:

Hack'n Slashes are fun too :mew:

Sandbox Adventure types.
Hack and Slash fighters (Soul Calibur)
FPS Shooters
and
whatever category minecraft would come in.

I play mostly visual novels and RPGs.

I love Survival Horror, Sandbox, Action/Adventure, RPG and the occasional FPS (ones such as Bioshock, Fallout 3, The Darkness).

My favorite genre is RPG.

cant beat JRPG. First thing i do is put japanese language on.

Dont you think that its the music that makes them so good?

I only set the language to Japanese if the English voices really grate on my ears. Otherwise I'm just far too lazy.

English dubbed voices are HORRIBLE.

i love how JPRG's always have a cheesy opening complete with song :)

Puzzles anyone?

I lean towards RPGs generally, but I always love fighting games, even if I'm not particularly good. Tactical RPGs are one of my favorite generes.

played some of it a few years back. Seemed pretty cool, I should probably go download it again LEGITIMATELY PURCHASE it again.

I play a bunch of RPG's, my favorites are Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Persona.

ive got to ask, which ff is your favourite?

That's a tough one, I have all of the games (excluding the MMO's) so it's hard to decide.

I wanna say FF10, but I have a soft spot for 6.

I like ff10 but a lot of people ive spoken to say thats when SE started to go down hill, though i dont think so.
ff6 definately deserves a remake and i love the magitech element of it.

They say that because FF10 was the last main entry of the series from when they were still Squaresoft, so they hate Square Enix.

Though there's also people who think that FF6 was the last "real" game in the series and the series went downhill after that.

if only SE would remake FF7 ........

I've seen articles seeing Square saying they're refusing to do it, except they kind of did it in a roundabout way saying they'll remake it once they make a game that's better than FF7.

I think the hype over the remake is going to do more harm to the remake than the actual quality of the game, because the expectations for the remake is really high.

i bet when SE go bust they will make the remake and say "this is the (last) Final Fantasy" make loads of monies and then make another load in the series :)

Well I like some of the recent games better than a few older ones.

I don't think i'll ever stop playing any new FF, even if they were the worst games ever.

Although i would really love a new turn based like wotl

Well if it's really bad, I wouldn't play it, but I really enjoyed 13.

i'm that sad i got platinum trophy for it :)

I only just beat the game, I'm planning on doing some post game stuff. I did put 73 hours in the game.

i got over 100 hrs

A bunch of RPGs, racing games, fighting games and some FPS'.

I can only play so many RPG's before I need my palette cleansing with something else.

Ive never bought a racing game and only played on a few. They don't seem that exciting although graphics look quite good on them.

I think RPG's are moreish.

I've never played racing games like Grand Turismo, but Mario Kart is always a blast.

I like musical games.

Like Beats.

I play a bit of everything really and RPG's are just the main sort.
I have played plenty of racing games and own a fair few as well. They are good for a change of pace when you've been going nice and slow with others.
