How long and how much Manga have you read?

Yeah.

How long have you guys been reading manga and how many have you read so far?

Been reading mangas for 3 years and I read a lot of titles but not enough! :I

I'd say around... 20+ diff mangas? And I've finished a little less than half of those.

Most of them are the mainstream stuffs that's been over 100 or 200 chapters :O

I did spend a few days reading manga once, somewhere quite good but I thought I'd read Bleach to see where it's going and why it's so popular, managed to finish what was release it in 6 hours up to volume 300 or so and I have regretted it ever since. I've never read anything where someone gets beaten, trains for about 15 volumes then takes another 15 just to defeat his enemy. It reminds me of dragon ball, seems there's always someone stronger who crawls out of the wood work. Then it just repeats.

The Soul Society guys are gonna be incredibly bored when they have to go back to hunting hollows again.

This may sound unbelievable, but I completely lost track of this.
Mainly because the last time I read manga was some time last year.
The reasoning for this is because the Borders bookstores in my location have completely shut down, and I haven't the slightest clue where else to get any manga. XD

Opal Maiden 09-08-2012 12:36 AM

Yeah.

It really sucks that they closed down.

Ambient-Symphony 09-09-2012 01:34 AM

I do not blame them, however.
Bankruptcy is a pain to deal with.

Opal Maiden 09-09-2012 05:56 PM

How did they go bankrupt?

Whyt Lindow 09-10-2012 09:52 AM

I've got most of my manga from Amazon, cheaper than at the shops in the city centre as well.

Nothing beats browsing in an actual shop though.

Opal Maiden 09-10-2012 11:20 PM

I prefer to go in person.

That way you know what condition they're in before throwing your money away.

Whyt Lindow 09-11-2012 01:38 PM

I just use Amazons rating thing, (New, used) Plus the only geek shop that has a large range of manga hasn't taken to good care of them. Like they've been removed and put back on their shelves a couple hundred times. Amazon has given me better and cheaper results so far.
