Invalid Redirect message and a notification error

Ok, so I have noticed that every so often (mainly when I get logged out of the forums through the login time running out), or when I login for the first time, I get an invalid redirect message in the Google Chrome/Chromium/Comodo Dragon browser family.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/...d_redirect.png

I get that after I click the login button, but if I click the site banner at the top of the page, it will take me to the forum HP and will have me logged in. It could also be a problem with the latest versions of Chromium and Google Chrome, but I got it with the version 16s, and now the version 17.0.963.56 of Chrome.

Also another thing, I have a notification of a new/removed award, yet when I view it, it does not go away. It actually takes me to my visitor messages, then quickly redirects to: http://www.tloag.com/forums/member.p...&do=awards#xpa and shows a blank profile screen.

And just my luck that I am the one finding all these errors.....

I see the same error message when signing in on the odd occasion, I'm using Chrome 18.0.1003.1.

I have noticed the navigation thing as well, only happened a couple of times though.

I use "remember Me", so I haven't encountered this.. I'll test it out in a bit ^^

Although, this did happen on anohter site and I think it has to do with the site link...

This is the link I have bookmarked: http://www.tloag.com/forums/index.php

Maybe do a comparison of links?

EDIT: Tried it on Fire Fox and all seems to be ok, but you may want to try on the link you guys usually use first ^^

CrescentOfLight 02-25-2012 01:03 AM

I tried it with Internet Explorer.

But it seems to work fine.

Whyt Lindow 02-25-2012 07:13 PM

I'm going testing on Chrome 19.0.1049.3 now and see if that still has issues.

I haven't come across it after a few times with log in testing as of yet.

CrescentOfLight 02-26-2012 07:23 AM

I had the exact same problem with the Notification.

But I think Seki fixed it now.

Blitztech 02-26-2012 09:37 AM

I think so as well Crescent, for the notification went away on mine.

@ Yumeria: I too use the remember me function, but when I clear out my temporary files on my computer, I also clear my cookies, which stores that data. I have not tried to get that error again yet.

Whyt Lindow 02-26-2012 10:30 AM

I haven't had an issues with it of late either.

CrescentOfLight 03-08-2012 01:49 AM

Maybe it was just a bug????

CrescentOfLight 03-13-2012 03:00 AM

This doesn't seem to be a problem anymore.

Blitztech 03-13-2012 04:13 AM

I just got it when I logged onto the site earlier today, since it has been about a week or so since last I have been on. And I got the error, I clicked on the banner, and it refreshed me and gave me another redirect error, except it was to:

www.tloag.com/forums/index.php XD

It was weird.

CrescentOfLight 03-19-2012 11:37 PM

Which browser?

Ambient-Symphony 03-23-2012 11:51 PM

So far I haven't come across this problem.
I use Opera.

CrescentOfLight 03-28-2012 02:21 PM

I think it only occurs in Chrome Seki.

Ah, I see.
I'll test it out to see if I get it then.

Indeed.
It seems so. XD

SeznamX 05-13-2012 08:20 PM

Virus problem

Why firefox says this is a reported attack site?

CrescentOfLight 05-14-2012 09:23 AM

LD-Skipper: I hope so.....

I don't know what you're talking about.....

Ambient-Symphony 06-29-2012 09:10 PM

Does anyone still encounter this?

Blitztech 07-01-2012 09:04 PM

No I don't get the redirect error anymore. And What is with the above post?......Darn trollers....

CrescentOfLight 07-03-2012 07:58 AM

Me neither.

I don't really know what that person meant by "attack site".

I think the person is just posting stupid stuff for no real reason.

Blitztech 07-03-2012 02:01 PM

I just wasn't also getting this error on Chrome, I was getting it on Firefox as well. Never liked Opera, nor IE, so I will probably never use them. I don't get the problem anymore on either browser, but I have stopped using Firefox now......hehehe

Ambient-Symphony 07-04-2012 03:44 AM

Ah, I see.
That's good to know. I suppose the recent changes I've made repaired the error.

CrescentOfLight 07-06-2012 10:52 PM

Why did it happen anyway?

Ambient-Symphony 07-08-2012 02:50 AM

I was planning to lock this, but I should probably leave it open a while longer just in case another person happens to run across this.
