I'm typing this from a very badly in shape iPod, that has been through hell and back. <3
It was dropped in a pool of water along with its headphones filled with mud and rock and escaped with nothing but a scratch.
It then suffered severe crackage as I dropped my backpack while it lay defenseless in a pocket, therefore shattering the screen.
It still works. <3

Haha, the case of the busted Pods.
I know what you mean. I don't own an IPod or IPhone, but I have experienced situations where my phone would suffer from external injuries from countless drops to the solid ground. They weren't severe, however, they still looked like they would hurt a bit. XD

A friend of mine from college killed his phone though, and had to get it replaced.
It looked something like this:

It was pretty much beyond the levels of reparations.

Ahhhh, my baby isn't that bad. ;~;
But she's still pretty bad. Ah. It hurts just typing on this and seeing all the cracks.
Ohh, and since I'm GFX now apparently, does that mean I can make stuff to make the forum pretty?

My computer, god technology hates me, got a huge virus and won't even let me get on the internet. It's an adware and I didn't notice until it was too late.

And I have them on my Photobucket! Do you want them, or should I make new ones, because I don't much like the way these look. :o
