Kitacon [UK]
 

Kitacon is an up-and-coming UK anime convention that takes place in Birmingham and after running its second sell-out convention in March 2010, Kitacon returns for 2011!

To those new to the con experience, Kitacon offers the ideal place to start. After all most of us began in Northampton and have never looked back. Kitacon is a convention run by fans for fans and be you young, old, a hard core fan or a newbie, with a capacity of 800 we offer a place for all.

The convention will be held over the weekend of Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd of April, 2011 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

The venue can be found only a 5 minute walk from the train station and Birmingham International Airport and with easy access to the M6/M42 motorway (directions and photos can be found in the Venue section of the website). A full range of activities will be on offer including fantastic parties, live artists straight from Japan, Voice Actors, Directors, panels, games, dealers? room and of course 24hr anime showings throughout the convention, plus a few events we are keeping under wraps for now.
