Nintendo 3DS
 

Anyone here have a Nintendo 3DS? And did you get it before or after the price drop?

I want one. I was going to buy one while I was in Japan (They had a nice bundle when I was there) but the fact the damn thing is region-locked pisses me off to no end... I import most of my games. For all of my consoles.

When those brilliant, brilliant hackers figure out how to crack the region coding, I'll be the first in line to grab one.

I have been holding off and waiting for the release of at least one of my favorite colors.
I am also waiting to see if a new version will be released before I jump on the wagon. XD

List of current colors:
- Aqua Blue
- Cosmo Black
- Flame Red
- Pearl Pink
- Ice White (Japan and Europe Only)
- Cobalt Blue (Japan Only. Other country dates currently unknown)
- Midnight Purple (U.S. Only)

So far, the only two colors that haven't been publicly announced for release are the Green and Orange colored ones.

I don't really think 3DS is "that" great of a handheld.

And the 1st price was way too ridiculous.

I have to agree with you on that part. That's one reason the sales ratings were very poor during its launch year.
I pray they don't make the same mistake with the Wii U.

I heard the 3D effects in the 3DS also harm people.

To a certain extent they can.
That's why Nintendo added the ability to tone down the level of the 3D with the sidebar.

It's still dangerous and careless for a company to harm their customers.

I pray they release my colors soon before the Wii U.
Otherwise there will be a gap between what to purchase first.

Played the Mario and Luigi: Dream Team demo last night.
It's got a Bowser's Inside Story feel to it, which is a good thing.

They made another one of those?

I finished Dream Team just last week. I loved it, better than Inside Story. They really perfected the 2D levels and the giant battles.

They're having a Black Friday deal at your nearby Targets for the XL.

Are you serious? I pretty much am lusting for a Blue 3DS XL with Pokemon X. Oh my gooddd.

I have not played that yet, nor have I ever played ALttP.

Why is it that whenever there is something I don't want anymore it goes on sale?

I like the 2DS more than the 3DS.

:nyaa: thats horrible! but now you have a way to spend the next couple of weeks then although it really shouldent take more than a week to beat both

I wasn't really a fan of the majority of Handheld Zelda games.
Although, Link's Awakening is an exception. XP

iv used one a couple times i prefer the 3ds to be honest although i think they could both use a slight screen size increase they feel a bit smaller than the other systems

The screens of the 2DS and original 3DS are the same.

The thing I like most is the lightness of it's weight.

That and I'm not a fan of the 3D effects.

I've got a pink&white 3DS XL.
I only just got it for my birthday in August. The only game I have so far that's a 3DS game is Mario Kart 7.
I've got a few games from my old DS though.
I want the new Harvest Moon!

I'm praying they port Luigi's Mansion 2 to Wii U.
A console variant would rock.

I only played a little bit but I enjoyed it a lot
