Yeah, after I saw the message saying that it will overwrite your current file, I just straight away denied it and continued with my story.

Yeah, open open plains I could handle them ok. But there were a lot on very narrow paths that gave me a lot of trouble.

yeah, I kinda regret rushing into Hero Mode :/

Ah, the Metal Shield Moblins? They're treated almost the exact same way as the Wooden Shield Moblins, except their shields can't be penetrated. I just did a lot of side-stepping in between their attacks, and started slashing away at their backside. You can also Shield Bash to throw them off balance, leaving them slightly open for an attack temporarily. Although, I wouldn't recommend that method since they still have a lot of coverage from their shields.

I had the option to start Hero Mode, but I want to get a 100% completion first. XD
