ah my family just sorta get xmas done as soon as possible we open our presents then go our seprate ways

It's something my family has done for a very long time.
It's not really something I see other people doing though, which is always surprising to me.
Yeah, it can be a lot of work. But it's so worth it. And it's something that can be done in a group, so you can chat and have a few drinks and just spend time with each other.
For my family, it's just my parents and I that do it together. But then, my boyfriend's family does a baking party of sorts with the extended family, where everyone comes over and bakes whatever they want and spend time with each otherwise and eat snacks, etc etc. Then everything at the end gets divided up between everyone's households

Nope! We give out baking for Christmas. It's much cheaper than getting presents for everyone.
Tastier too!
Of course, if we have anyone over (a karaoke party most likely), we'll have plenty to share with our guests ♥

Sugar cookies, short bread, ginger molasses cookies, chocolate bark, candy cane bark, fudge (regular and chocolate as well), chocolates, rum balls, banana bread.

Well, she did ask me if I could do the kitchen for her :-p
We want to start all our baking soon. But the kitchen was too messy XD
